What therapy with me looks like?
I keep the process simple, clear, and focused on your progress.
Here’s how we’ll work together:
Initial Consultation → Understanding Your Story → Targeted Therapy Sessions → Review & Relapse Prevention
In our first session, I’ll listen to what you’re experiencing and what you want to change. Together, we’ll build a clear understanding of the challenges you’re facing and create a personalised plan. Each session is practical and goal-focused, and along the way we’ll review your progress and develop tools to prevent setbacks.
My aim is to help you build long-term clarity, strength, and confidence in everyday life.

Your Trauma Does Not Define You
What you have gone through is just a small part of your story! You cannot just forget what happened or pretend it was not traumatising. Unprocessed traumatic memories cause distress as they feel like the threat is still happening. Your body thinks you’re still in the moment. The longer you keep avoiding it, the more you keep the distress alive.
Even if in the back of your mind you feel you need help, just get it. This will help you in learning to live with it in a way that doesn’t control your life anymore. As you process these events, you can begin to lower the distress and reclaim your life.
Our team provides support for those seeking PTSD treatment, managing anxiety, or overcoming addiction struggles. We also offer guidance through faith healing to promote emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

FAQs
How long is trauma therapy?
Well, so much of it will depend on what you’ve experienced and how it’s all hitting you. For some guys, things get better after only a couple of sessions. Others need more time. We go at your pace, not mine. The more you lean into the distress in a safe, supported, structured way, the faster you may recover.
Is therapy for trauma different for men?
Yes and no. There are evidence based treatments for trauma that work. We find what works for you. Everyone's experience of trauma is different and so the unique elements of your treatment will be a fit for you.
Do I need to describe all the details of what took place?
Not necessarily. Some men only share specifics. Others would rather look to the future and share it all. So, we leave the choice to you. Either way, successful treatment will need us to approach the memories at some level.
